Have I Lost My Fire?

Have I lost my fire? I don't think so!! I just read my daughter's blog "Dawn Brocco's Life & Design" where she moans over having lost her fire, or so, that's what her daughter said to her.
It may be true but something tells me that my daughters fire might be a little weaker due to all the health issues she has been dealing with but certainly it has not been put out.
Now as for me, my fire has been re-directed. I no longer look for self satisfaction in doing meaningless things.
My fire is blazing with love of God and service to Him by serving His people. I do that by teaching Religious Education [you think embers could deal with 15 6th graders, think again]
and I am a volunteer in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. I am also my Conference Treasurer.
Anyone who knows anything about the Society, knows that unlike other charitable organizations we actually visit our guests in their homes. Try carrying heavy bags of food without having a real commitment.
Thank you Holy Spirit for descending on me with the fire of Your Love.
