Half of 2010 is over, I am finding it hard to believe that six months has flown by so quickly, but then my Mom used to say to me "the older you get the faster it goes" and now I know she was right. When we are oh! so young the days are endless especially during the summer months.
So much has happened during the month of June, I don't know where to begin, so instead of listing all the woes, whys and wherefores; I will quote something from "Shorter Common Prayer" which is the Divine Office in brief.
Reading from James 1
"...Know this, my dear brothers: everyone should be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, for the wrath of man does not accomplish the righteousness of God....."
Responsory: "Claim me once more as your own, Lord, and have mercy on me"
Some of the Intercessions:
Grant prosperity to our neighbors, give them life and happiness for ever.
Console those who are burdened with oppressive work and daily hardships, preserve the dignity of workers.
Open wide the doors of your compassion to those who have died today, and in your mercy receive them into your kingdom.

Ramblin On
Summer is here already, its been extremely hot and humid for the past few days. My tomato plants and peppers are doing fine, they have already flowered.
Our Pastor has, on a trial basis, included a 12noon Mass along with the regular 8am Mass. What a gift, as I am one of those person's who is unable to get out so early in the morning. I love being able to get most of my morning work done and then get ready and spend time at Mass. I've been an Eucharistic Adorer for sometime, but not on a regular basis for a couple of years now. When the captain didn't call, I just went when I had time. Now my regular hour is on Friday's between 12:30 and 1:30pm. What a great way to start my weekend.
I need to start thinking about my RE Teaching agenda soon, so I am fully prepared for the coming school year. I am trying to pare down all the paper I have accumulated, what a job and I'm an organized person.
Sometimes I just don't have that much to say and sometimes I do and just can't put it all into words....
